My family always enjoyed visiting Uncle Mutt and Aunt Mary when we came to visit my Dad , Mom and grandmother, Dodo in Damascus, Virginia.
Our sons, Michael and Jeremy, wanted to hear Aunt Mary say “Bill would go to all 3 houses every day, when he was young, to see what they were having for supper, before deciding where to eat!”
We loved Aunt Mary so much, Bill, June, Michael and Jeremy Tomlinson

My Sincere sympathy to Mary's family, particularly to Margaret Blevins and Phil. My folks, Halls and Fortunes, always felt close to and respected the Tomlinsons; Mary was a fine Damascus soul. Marilou Preston.

It seems like I have known Mary all my life. Kitty and I were friends growing up so I was at their house a lot, plus her being my Sunday School teacher. She was a wonderful woman. Kitty, Becky, and family, my prayers go out to you.

I will miss looking forward to coming back to Damascus to see Aunt Mary. It seemed to me she always had a smile on her face. I LOVED going to her house to visit with her and have a cup of tea at the kitchen table. She was a lovely, Christ-filled woman and now she is at home where she with her family that was waiting there for her. There are so many memories! It is hard to pick just one.
