Virginia Plummer

Virginia Henderson Plummer, age 73, of Shady Valley, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Johnson County, Tennessee and a daughter of the late Charles William Henderson and Stella Mae Griffin Henderson. She had worked at Lincoln Industries as a private secretary, and later at McBee Systems, also had worked at Abingdon Harwood. She was a member of the Sutherland Community Church. She is survived by one daughter, Pamela P. Bowers and her husband, Ricky, of Glade Spring, Virginia; two sons, Felton Wade Plummer, Jr. and Evan Lance Plummer, both of Shady Valley, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jarrod Cole Bowers, Jenna Lauren Bowers, Evan Lance Plummer, Jr., April Brianna Plummer, and Ethan James Plummer; one daughter-in-law, Martha Plummer, of Poga, Tennessee; one brother, Paul Henderson, of Shady Valley, Tennessee; two sisters, Nancy Eggers, of East Lake, Ohio and Ruby Boone, of Damascus, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 P. M. Friday, September 10, 2004 at Sutherland Community Church with Pastor Bill Worley officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
