Tammy Maine Wallace

Tammy Maine Wallace, age 48, of Abingdon, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Mountain City, Tennessee to the late Ted and Idella Maine. She had lived in Shady Valley, Tennessee before moving to Abingdon, Virginia in 1996. She was of the Baptist Faith.  She is survived by three sons, Leon Wallace, Patrick Wallace, and Teddy Wallace all of Shady Valley, Tennessee; one daughter, Diane Wallace of Shady Valley, Tennessee; one sister, Neatsy Blevins of Abingdon, Virginia; one brother, Billy Jack Maine of Damascus, Virginia; one niece, Heather Blevins of Abingdon, Virginia; and her companion, Chester “Mack” Widener of Abingdon, Virginia.  A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 19, 2012 in the Riverview Chapel at Garrett Funeral Home with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
