Tammy Lifford

Tammy K. Lifford, age 42, of Abingdon, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Virginia. She was a native of Sullivan County, Tennessee and had lived in Washington County, Virginia most of her life. She was the daughter of Carolyn S. Pauley, of Damascus, Virginia and the late William Wayne Pauley. She was preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Lynn McVey. Mrs. Lifford worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Medical Technician with Appalachian Assisted Living in Abingdon, Virginia. She was a member of the State Street Baptist Church in Bristol, Tennessee. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Patrick D. Lifford; one son, Richie W. Norris, of Damascus, Virginia; two daughters, Crystal D. Waddell, of Mountain City, Tennessee and Chasity N. Blackburn, of Damascus, Virginia; one sister, Cathy Ann Asher, of Damascus, Virginia; one brother, Gary Wayne Pauley, of Honaker, Virginia; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be conducted 10:00 A. M. Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Sunset Memorial Park, Damascus, Virginia with Mr. David Asher officiating. Pallbearers will be Richie Norris, Jayson Blackburn, Justin Taylor, Tom Jarrett, David Waddell, and Chad Jennings. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P. M.
