Sarah G. Blevins, age 83, of Damascus, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Virginia,She was born in Pulaski, Virginia, daughter of the late Bane Taylor and Violet Edna Hughs Gusler. She had lived in Damascus, Virginia since 1980 and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness of Meadowview Congregation. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard A. Blevins.She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Combs and husband, Al of Damascus, Virginia; four half sisters, Marie Renshaw of Idaho, Kay Utterback of Nokesville, Virginia, Donie Webb of Front Royal, Virginia, and Beatrice Irwin of Olympia, Washington; three half brothers, Curtis Warren of Pulaski, Virginia, William Warren of Maryland, and Raymond Warren of Front Royal, Virginia; four grandchildren, Melissa Adams, Amanda Hall, Guy Combs, and Christine Combs; several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Azen Cemetery in Konnarock, Virginia with Bro. Marty Mulligan officiating.
