Rosa Hoosier

Rosa Lee Hoosier, age 63, of Abingdon, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2012 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. She was a native of West Grove, Pennsylvania and had lived in Newport, Delaware for 27 years prior to moving to Abingdon, Virginia in 1995. She was a daughter of the late Mose and Ruby Roberts. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Marion, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was also prceded in death by one sister, Jean Price.  She is survived by her husband, Jerry F. Hoosier; two sons, Jeffery Hoosier of Chilhowie, Virginia and Eric Johnson Hoosier of Bristol, Virginia; three sisters, Geraldine Barker and her husband, Ray Gale, of Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania, Kathy Wood of Hansonville, North Carolina, and Linda Hampton and her husband, Jim, of Daleville, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Bobby Joe Roberts of Nottingham, Pennsylvania and Glenn Estel Roberts and his wife, Kathy, of Chichester, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Daniel Johnson Hoosier and Kaylee Hoosier; and several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M.
