Phyllis D. Conner , 79, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Virginia. She was born in Pulaski, Virginia; daughter of the late Eugene James and Lottie Phipps Davidson. She had lived in Washington County since 2001. She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Dave" David Conner; daughter, Kathy Richardson and husband, Fred of Damascus, VA; son, John Eugene Conner and wife, Jane of Roanoke, VA; four grandchildren, Kristy Ann Richardson, Angela Davis and husband, Randy, Chris Conner, and Jennifer Conner; one step grandson, Ben Mitchell and wife, Renee; five great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Phyllis D. Conner will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Friday, November 21, 2014 in Garrett Funeral Home, Damascus, VA with Pastor Robert Griffin, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Damascus, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Damascus Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
