Pauline Trent

October 4, 1921 - August 17, 2008

(Must have Broadband Connection to view Video Tribute) Pauline Swift Trent, age 86, of Damascus, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, in Abingdon, Virginia. She was a lifelong resident of Damascus, Virginia and was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L. Trent. Mrs. Trent was  of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one son, Michael L. Trent and his wife, Rita, of Damascus, Virginia; one granddaughter, Wendy Garrison and her husband, Steve: one grandson, Matt Trent and his wife, Connie; two step-grandchildren, Bucky Slagle and his wife, Amiee and Donnie Slagle; one great granddaughter, Kristen Clark; three step-great-grandchildren, Chad, Haley and Taylor; one great- great grandson, Cameron Clark; two step-great-great grandchildren, Abby and Luke; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at the graveside in Sunset Memorial Park with her granddaughter, Wendy Garrison officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P. M.
