Naomi O. McHone

Naomi O. McHone, 79, of Damascus, VA passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Retreat Hospital in Richmond, VA. She was born on August 29, 1940, a daughter of the late David and Callie Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood "Mac" McHone. She had made her home in Washington County, VA most of her life and was well known in Damascus for her love of the holidays and sharing her home in the community home tours during the Christmas season. Naomi was former owner and operator of Corner Oil Company and Corner Cafe. She is survived by three daughters, Robin Nelson, Sharon Shortt and her husband, Jimmy, and Tammy Reed and her husband, Bob; four grandchildren, Barry Lee Bibb, Rachael, Joshua, and Eli; seven great grandchildren; a foster son, Robert Bentley; one brother, Harold Osborne; and several nieces and nephews.
