Mary Anne Blair-Johnson, 67, passed away, Sunday, March 1, 2020 at her residence in Glade Spring, VA. She was born on February 1, 1953, a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Reinbold Blair. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step son, Thomas Johnson, Jr. Mary was the second woman to be a member of the 101st Airborne Assault Group in The U.S. Army. She was a PA for 32 years and worked for Kent & Queen Anne's County Hospital for 4 years. She loved to hunt, fish and go camping. She loved to travel. Mary is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Thomas Johnson, Sr; three daughters, Kathy Ann Lacroix and husband, David, Dorie Lynn Johnson-Stewart and husband, Ron and Jeannie Marie Nieble and husband, Robert; one son, Robert Coppack and wife, Trina; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Beauchemin; and several other family members. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the doctors and staff of Ballad Hospice for all the love and care shown to Mary during her illness. Services will be conducted at a later date.
