Mable Burchette

Mabel L. Burchette, age 92, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Northpoint Health Care in Lexington, KY. She was a native of Damascus, VA, and had lived in Bristol, VA for twenty-five years prior to moving to Lexington, KY in 2004 to live with her son. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wayne Burchette. She was retired from Dutt & Wagner. Mabel attended East Bristol Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Bobby Burchette and his wife, Christine, of Lexington, Kentucky; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 26, 2006, at the graveside at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, Virginia with Rev. Dan Birchfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504-3277. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 P. M.
