John Isherwood

John Isherwood, age 71, of Damascus, Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2005, at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Virginia. He was born in Warrington, England and was a son of the late George and Maryann Ball Isherwood. Mr. Isherwood had moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1961 and had lived in Florida for ten years before moving to Damascus, Virginia in 2001. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Florida and was of the Lutheran Faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Jean A. Isherwood; two daughters, Barbara Danek and her husband, Paul, of Winfield, Illinois and Suzanna Bullis and her husband, Martin, of Illinois; two step-sons, William Lane and his wife, Kelly, of Lakeland, Florida and Thomas Ayers and his wife, Colleen, of Middleburgh, New York; two sisters, Louisa Douglas, of Orangeville, Ontario, Canada and Muriel Robinson, of Eakin, Illinois; eleven grandchildren, Shawn, David, Nicole, Eric, Lauren, Lindsey, Brandon, Laura, Cassandra, John, and Megan; and several nieces and nephews.
