James Michael "Mike" Campbell, age 45, of Abingdon, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. He was a life long resident of Washington County, Virginia and was a son of the late Hugh and Lillian Smart Campbell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Winters Campbell; and his mother-in-law, Lois Winters. Mike was a 1988 graduate of John S. Battle High School. He enjoyed watching sports and loved his family and friends. He attended One Way Ministries in Damascus, Virginia. He is survived by his father-in-law, William N. "Bill" Winters of Abingdon, Virginia; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2015 at Garrett Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in the Riverview Chapel at Garrett Funeral Home with Pastor James Walls and Pastor Gary Ritchie officiating. The committal service and interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Roy Mahala, David Price, Jonathan Price, Timmy Keys, Bill Blevins, and Bobby Moore, Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to One Way Ministries, 1004 S.
