Idella Maine

Idella Mae Maine, of Shady Valley, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at her residence. She was a native of Johnson County, Tennessee and had lived in Damascus, Virginia for the past fifteen years. She was a widow of Ted Maine and was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Gentry and Ann Hobbs. Mrs. Maine was a member of the First Baptist Church in Damascus, Virginia. She is survived by one son, Billy Jack Maine and his wife, Melissa, of Ashe County, North Carolina; two daughters, Anita Blevins, of Taylors Valley, Virginia and Tammy Wallace, of Denton Valley, Virginia; two sisters, Peggy Gentry, of Concord, North Carolina and Anita Thornburg, of Bulls Gap, Tennessee; four brothers, Harold Gentry, of Greenville, South Carolina, Doug Phillips and Steve Phillips, both of Shady Valley, Tennessee and Argus Gentry, of Bristol, Tennessee; a special friend, Lacy Miller, of Lansing, North Carolina; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at the graveside at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3, 2005 in the Billy Hill Cemetery in Shady Valley, Tennessee with Mr. David Griffin officiating.
