Henry Catron Williamson, of Meadowview, Virginia, passed away Friday, November 11, 2005 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. He was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Virginia. He was the son of the late Marvin Luke and Sallie Mae Wright Williamson. Mr. Williamson was a Veteran Military Policeman of the U. S. Army having served during WWII, was a auctioneer of Virginia and Tennessee, a member of the State of Virginia and Tennessee Auctioneer Association, American Legion and V. F. W., O. D. D. Fellows, Damascus Citizens Club. Henry C. was on First Virginia Mountain Empire Board of Directors, serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman. He worked and supported 4-H for over fifty years and was selected as out-standing 4-H Leader in Washington County, also served on Congressman Boucher's Beef and Tobacco Committee, Southern State Coop. Board Member, and Farm Bureau Board Member, F. F. A. Honorary Chapter Farmer at Holston High School. He was a well known farmer, auctioneer, and Real Estate Appraiser and was a member and past trustee of Zion United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Williamson; one son, Jimmy Williamson and his wife, Sheryl, of High Point, NC; one daughter, Janet Ruth Fuller; one brother, K. C. Williamson and his wife, Polly, of Blacksburg, Va; one sister, Ruth E. Williamson, of Kingsport, Tn; four granddaughters, Amy Ruth and Kayla Fuller, Laura Hope King and Emily Williamson; one great grandson, Grant Lee King; also a very devoted friend, Clyde T. Combs; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 13, 2005, at the Damascus United Methodist Church with Rev. David Critcher, Rev. Leonard Smith and Rev. Jane Ayers officiating. The committal service and interment will follow in the Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Highlands Fellowship Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society/ Pancreatic Cancer, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Ok 73123-1718 and Washington County 4-H Memorial Fund, 234 West Valley Street, Abingdon, Va 24210. Pallbearers will be Teddy Ferrell, Roger Copenhaver, Bob Copenhaver, John Roberts, D. L. Stout, Jeffery Hock, Fred W. Parker, and John Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Bishop, Dean McThenia, Melvin Ritchie, Fred Newman, Eddie Trent, Kenneth Shoun, Don Hash, Tommy Musick, and members of the First Virginia Board of Directors that served with Henry C.
