I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Aunt Geraldine, you were a sweet, sweet lady. I have many memories from when you lived in Manassas Park. God Bless you as you are in Gods arms now. May your memories give the family peace and comfort.
Although Geri was my mother in law she was much more to me than that. She was my friend, the grandmother to our boys. She worked with me for many years and was so loved and respected. She made a difference in many children's lives. Her love was unconditional she always had a smile on her face and she took the time to love the kids give hugs and listen to them. She love to shop that was our weekend ritual we would shop and eat and talk, oh - the things we would talk about. Gerri was easy she didn't judge she was always forgiving and loved her family. When I think of Gerri which is daily her pictures are on the refrigerator among other places. Unfortunately the distance has separated us and for that I am always sad. There was never a better grandmother and I like to think that I am a good grandmother in part because of what she taught me and the way she was with our boys. She was my second mom she was the glue that held us together. Although we all know that with life comes death but no matter how much you prepare for those times the reality is you are never ready to let go. There is no finer mother, grandmother and friend then Gerri and I will miss her!!! I like to thank Dennis, Donna, Lisa, Bobby for sharing her with me I was truly blessed for the time I had with her and I will always be thankful for that.
Love
Patty
