MRS. WILTON CLEMENTS MOCK , age 95, of Damascus Virginia died at her home on April 20, 2010. She was a member of The Damascus United Methodist Church. Mrs. Mock is survived by a daughter Janice Mock Chapman of Grenville, Tennessee; three grandsons and their spouses, Walter C. Chapman Jr. and Mary of Knoxville, Tennessee, Wilton M. Chapman and Lisa of Greenville, Tennessee, and John B. Chapman of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; four great-grandchildren, Brittany Chapman and Wilton Chapman Jr. of Greenville, Tennessee, Megan Chapman of Atlanta, Georgia, and Michelle Chapman of Knoxville, Tennessee; several cousins and special caretakers. Mrs. Mock was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Clements Mock, her parents, Arthur Jennings Buchanan and Lucy Hoss Buchanan, and a son-in-law, Dr. Walter Clay Chapman. A private family graveside service will be held in Abingdon, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Damascus United Methodist Church, P.O. I was sorry to hear about your Mother's death. I have such fond memories of all of our Mothers when we were growing up. Your Mother was always a beauty, inside and out and she had such a wonderful laugh. I am thinking of you and your family.

Eunice was a beautiful lady and lived next door to my grandparents, the Salmons, in Damascus. Will always remember the Mocks from childhood. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She will now be with childhood friends, my parents, Louise and George Copenhaver. Her family and friends will be lifted up in prayer by all the Copenhavers......Jedd, Joe, Jane, and Judy.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's death. I sent her a birthday card this year with a note that I had moved back to the area and got a prompt note back from her. She and my mother were such good friends and tried to watch out for each other. When mother was in the hospital she called several times to see how she was doing. We are just never ready to give up our Mom's and I surely do miss mine. We will be thinkiing of you during this time and know that your good memories will comfort you.
