Emma K. Venker, age 85, of Abingdon, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. She was a native of West Virginia and had lived in Baltimore, Maryland for many years prior to moving to Washington County, Virginia in 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Venker. She is survived by two sons, Gary A. Clark, Jr. and his wife, Wilma, and Robert E. Venker, Sr. and his wife, Patricia, all of Abingdon, Virginia; six grandchildren, Shirley Hardy, Samantha Jackson, Stephanie Colbert, Gary Clark III, Robert Venker, Jr., and John Borsella, III; ten great grandchildren; four sisters, Pat, Jenny, Suetta, and Velvie; three brothers, Eddie, Charles, and Harold; and several nieces and nephews.
