To the family,
No one can truly feel your loss. Know that anyone that knew Edith will miss her sweet smile and gentle spirit. She was a strong woman able to work up a garden, raise a family, and help her husband run the farm. Our trips to Damascus were never complete until we had our visit with Edith. Know that our loss is an exciting time for her in heaven being with the husband and daughter she loved so much.
Love,
Lee, Sylvia, and Bob
Bill, Danielle & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead that God would give you strength and comfort as only He can.
Dear Family,
We were saddened to hear of Edith's passing. She was one of the sweetest people we've ever know. She had a beautiful smile and soft and loving way. All who knew her will miss her greatly. She and Roy will be looking out for all of those that they loved and will meet again. They were such a loving couple that we know they're together again. Our prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.
I have many good memories of both Roy and Edith. When My late husband ,Rev.Wilson Newman, was their pastor and the many times we visited intheir home. They was so graciousand welcomed us to their home.Edith will be missed by me even though I know longer live in the area. She was so special.Jane

edith,
I NEVER SAID GOODBYE
I never said goodbye to you,
it made no sense to me.
I only say goodbye,
to those I'll never see.
One day I'll hold your hand again;
in my heart I do believe,
that death is not the end of life;
it's just a short reprieve.
I never said goodbye to you,
instead I said "I love you".
As you departed on your journey
to a place where life is new.
I held your hand and kissed you.
Your leaving made me cry.
But in the end,
I know I'll see you again...
So I never said goodbye.
i miss you like others do and hope to see you soon
love, bertha
edith,
THE BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
i love you with all my heart.
we love you.
