Earl "Billy" W Barr

Earl "Billy" W. Barr, 64, of Konnarock, VA passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at his home. He was born in Konnarock, VA. on September 2, 1956, a son of Earl B. Barr and Mary Sue Bartfai Barr. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl B. Barr; one sister, Nancy Vaughn; one nephew, Johnny Barr Jr.; and one great nephew, Jason Whitaker. Billy was a loving father, son and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting old antiques, arrowheads and spending time with his chickens and coon dog, Preacher. Most of all Billy loved spending his days wandering the Great Outdoors. Earl is survived by his mother, Mary Sue Bartfai Barr; one son, Michael Barr of Winter Haven, FL; one daughter, Rebecca Barr of Winter Haven, FL; three brothers, Johnny Barr, Ricky Barr, and Roger Barr and wife Lisa; two sisters, Barbara Sue Barr Clark, Julia Ann Barr Dolinger and husband Tracy; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. There will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM Monday, September 28th, 2020 at Barr Family Cemetery in Konnarock, VA with Pastor Jerry Fritz officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
