Delores Trivett, age 77, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Macon, Georgia. She was a native of Konnarock, Virginia and was the daughter of the late U.V. and Mammie Sturgill. She had lived in Macon, Georgia since 1975 and retired from Geico Insurance Company after 44 years of service. Mrs. Trivett was a member of West Macon Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Trivett; two sisters, Evelyn Wohlford and Norma McClure; and one brother, Franklin “Bud” Sturgill. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Juston Trivett; three brothers, Harley Sturgill and his wife, Barbara, of Longwood, Florida, French Sturgill of Chilhowie, Virginia, and Nick Sturgill and his wife, Eva, of Damascus, Virginia; one sister, Naomi Phillips of Konnarock, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, Virginia with Mr. Eric McClure officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Garrett Funeral Home.
