Debbie Swift, age 66, of Damascus, Virginia passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Sacramento, California and was a daughter of the late Earl and Lois Gero. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Gero and Stephen Gero; and one sister, Cheryl Ann Smithers. She grew up in Maryland and had lived in Florida for forty years prior to moving to Virginia. She was a retired CNA. Debbie is survived by one son, James E. Lippincott and his wife, Jennifer, of Jacksonville, Florida; two daughters, Samantha Gurnee and her husband, Darwin, of North Augusta, South Carolina and Mary Allison and her husband, Walt, of Hancock, Wisconsin; her companion, Richard Smithers of Damascus, Virginia; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
