Daniel Pruitt

Daniel Phillip Pruitt, age 46, of Wellington, Ohio, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio after suffering from a long illness.  He was born May 17, 1962 in Lorain, Ohio and was a Black River High School graduate.  In Daniel’s early career, he owned his own trucking business.  He also worked for DW Nesbitt and Sons and at the U.S. Postal Service for 17 years.  He was a member of the Wellington Eagles No. 2051.  Daniel was a good athlete and a talented musician who enjoyed making music; he also held a private airplane pilot license.  Daniel will be very much missed by his family and many friends. He is survived by his parents, Russell C. and Clarice Pruitt, Sr. of Wellington, Ohio; a daughter, Holly Pruitt of Homerville, Ohio; a sister, Phyllis Parks of Andover, Ohio; and two brothers, Mark Pruitt of Wellington, Ohio and Russell Pruitt, Jr. of Norwalk, Ohio. Friends may call from 10 A.M. Saturday, September 13, 2008 until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon at the Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, Ohio 44090 with Rev. Stephen Carmany officiating.  Mr. Pruitt will be taken to Damascus, Virginia where the family will receive friends from 12 Noon on Monday, September 15, 2008 at Garrett Funeral Home until the time of a graveside service to be conducted at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus at 1:00 P.M. with Rev.
