Charles P. "Chuck" Wyatt, 60, of Abingdon, Virginia passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA. He was a life long resident of Abingdon, VA and was a son of the late Charles and Rita Martin Wyatt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David Wyatt and Stanley Wyatt; and one sister, Valerie Duvall. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Kathy Wyatt; three children, Natalie (Josh) Linkous of Abingdon, VA, Nathan LaPoint of LA, and Jamie LaPoint of Bristol, VA; seven grandsons, Daylin, Peyton, Ashton, Josh, Jacob, Raydon, and Alex; a brother, Jim (Joy) Gobble; three sisters, Debra (Jerry) Wofford, Susan (Lee) Tuell, and Jennifer Tuggle; a sister-in-law, Geneva Wyatt; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the funeral home to help pay for funeral expenses.
