Eunice Thomas "Noonie" Bott

Eunice Thomas “Noonie” Bott, age 71, of Glade Spring, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. She was a life long resident of Washington County, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Ted and Bessie Thomas. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Glade Spring, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Don Bott; one daughter, Phoebe Heath and her husband, Eddie, of Damascus, Virginia; one son, Tracy Bott and his wife, Tena, of Glade Spring, Virginia; one step-son, Donnie Bott of Bristol, Tennessee; four grandsons, Daniel Heath, Canaan Heath, Dustin Bott, and Dillon Bott; one step-granddaughter, Jade Bott; three brothers, James Fred Thomas and his wife, Jean, of Rural Retreat, Virginia, Ed Thomas of Glade Spring, Virginia, and John Thomas and his wife, Carolyn, of Saltville, Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Anna Thomas of Glade Spring, Virginia, and Doris Morrison of Bristol, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Garrett Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 15, 2015 in the Riverview Chapel with Rev. Paul Jones and Pastor Gary Ritchie officiating. The committal service and interment will follow at Rush Creek Cemetery in Glade Spring, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Daniel Heath, Canaan Heath, Dustin Bott, Dillon Bott, Johnny Thomas, Ike Thomas, Jason Thomas, and Glenn Heath. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrik Pensinger and Ryan Morrison.
